According to brand-new guidelines set by GU, students appearing for the entrance exams is definately not allowed to answer nature's telephone during first one-and-half hour with the test. Dr Parimal Trivedi, vice-chancellor, GU, has introduced this rule to take care of transparency and avoid instances of cheating during exams.

The gap in typical scores between public and private schools was 157 points (850 is a perfect score), a small increase of four points from not too long ago. This disparity has steadily increased since 2004, when the difference between the public and private school results was 118 points.
