What is pagerank? When you hear on the term High Page Rank Backlinks, what is meant can be high pagerank backlinks. Pagerank is a term that Google uses to rate the caliber of a site. A quality or capacity site, mostly gets it's high PR because doing so has great content, but also a large number of backlinks. These backlinks count as votes for that site, the more votes a niche site has, the more authority(or pagerank) it will eventually get from Google. This makes it sound as if it can be an easy process, just get 2000 buttons and you're done, I'm afraid there is a bit more to it then just the number of backlinks pointing to your internet site.

The pageranks start out of 0 to 10, 0 being low and 10 being the best. So when you have a backlink from a PR 0 web-site, it hasn't got the maximum amount of authority as a backlink from your PR 5 site. For example, a hundred PR 0 inbound links, can have the same authority as let's say 2 PR 5 links. This is an estimate, I don't have the precise numbers but I think you have the idea. This doesn't mean that you don't need low PR links, you do because aging look natural to Google after you only have high PR backlinks pointing at your website. Every site has lower PR backlinks so accomplish count them in if you are doing your linkbuilding.
