Great Workout Songs While you may have listen to the most up-to-date songs on the radio or a premade list of your preferred songs, if you do not have a single piece of classical music, you are missing out. Why not give these classical hits a go you will be in for a treat at how energizing these songs will make you really feel for the duration of your workout. In no specific order, I present to you some of the greatest classical songs for your playlist.
10. Offenback – Can Can from Orpheus in the Underworld
Written by Offenback and 1st performed in 1858, Can Can is a high energy song, quick tempo song. If you are a lover of cartoons, when you hear the song you will know it immediately as it is widely use in cartoons shows.
9. Tchaikovsky – 1812 Overture
1812 Overture was written in 1880 to commemorate the defense of Moscow against the French lead by Napoleon at the battle of Borodino in 1812. It has a slow commence, but gets fairly intense at the finish, it tends to make a Great Workout Songs great warm up song which will lead into a more upbeat, higher tempo song.
8. Bizet – Carmen: Les Toreadors
A rapidly tempo song from start to finish, it is a nicely identified piece of classical work. As soon as you hear it , you will know the song proper away.

A slower tempo song, Ravel most renowned musical composition, Bolero tends to make a fantastic song to get warm up or a slower pace activity such as walking. This composition has been use in many soundtracks such as the movie ten and the anime series Digimon Adventures.
6. Williams – Imperial March
From the well-known series, Imperial March, Darth Vader’s theme, will bring back fond memories for the older generation. Known for its leitmotif, recurring theme, it is a single of the most nicely identified symphonic theme of all time.
5. Holst – Planets: Mars, The Bringer of War
The most properly know of Holst’ Planets Suite, this tune will get preserve you going with its high, loud bass, and rapidly tempo. This is the base for most of the Star Wars songs.
4. Gershwin – Rhapsody in Blue
Rhapsody in Blue was written in 1924 for piano and jazz, a slow piece and tends to make Gershwin a well-known composer. If you ever seen Disney Fantasia 2000, this song was heavily employed. A fantastic song if you are preparing on a walk. It does have its quicker moments but overall the tempo is really slow.
three. Strauss – Ein Heldenleben

two. Sousa- Stars and Stripes Forever
An American patriotic march, think about the masterpiece of John Philip Sousa. It is the National March of the United States. A quick and upbeat song, it tends to make a excellent addition to any list.
1. Wagner – Ride of the Valkyries
A classic in its personal correct, Ride of the Valkyries is just the start of the third Act of Die Walkure. A staple in movies and televisions, when you hear this song you will know proper away why it is so preferred. I know not each and every song on this list will have a place in your workout playlist, but hopefully one will.
