This page will collect the contributions of the teachers who have used the unit, in total or in part in the classroom.
Initially, it just contains a few "teaching suggestions", which we could call "theoretical", although they are based on our teaching experience.
The work with "Matter" in the classroom will, no doubt, be the source of more valuable contributions. The unit is organized as follows

Initially the aim is that students understand that mass and volume are properties of matter and remember the way to measure them and assign them units. Mass and volume are obvious concepts. 

From the relation between mass and volume comes the not so obvious concept of density, which gives us an idea of how compact any body is.

This concept along with many others like work, electric charge, temperature, etc. have been defined by the culture of the human beings on the planet Earth, and will no doubt be so defined by any other intelligent civilization in the Cosmos which studies the environment in which it lives. 

The students will also learn that masses attract each other thourgh a force created by themselves, and that forces appear when a matter is charged. These forces play a fundamental role in the organization of matter to form substances and systems.

The discoveries made in our  present day technological culture about the component particles of matter and that these particles are constantly vibrating, are also presented. According to the type of vibration, matter is present in different forms which we call states.
