INTRODUCTION

This unit deals with equations and identities and focuses on solving simple equations both numerically and graphically. Finally, we show how these equations can be applied to many everyday problems.

AIMS

To recognise equations and identities and know how to distinguish one from the other.
To solve simple equations with an unknown both graphically and numerically.
Apply these methods to solve everyday problems.
