| A polygon is a flat closed shape of three or more straight sides. A regular polygon has equal sides and equal interior angles. | ||||
| 1.-Use the Nippe Descartes
window to form the first 15 regular polygons changing the numbers of
sides each time.
2.- Notice how the more sides the polygon has the more it looks like a circle. 3.- Draw a 50-sided polygon and note that the shape is not exactly the same as a circle.
