6. A DIFFERENT GAME |

In this game the idea is to block the red counters so that they can't move. You are white and the computer is red. You can move your counters wherever you want (or wherever you can) towards the right. You can't move diagonally, vertically or backwards and you are not allowed to jump over a counter. The winner is the last player to move.

EXERCISE 7: How is this game similar to Nim? In order to win and to avoid having to do so many workings out you should look closely at the symmetrical patterns which are produced. |
